How to Move, Resize, Duplicate, and Delete Layers in Slider Revolution 7

Once you add text, images, buttons, or other layers to your slide, you can easily adjust them without starting over.

This guide shows you how to move, resize, duplicate, and delete layers in Slider Revolution 7.

Step 1: Open Your Slider

From the Slider Revolution dashboard, open the slider you want to edit.

The slider will open in the Slider Revolution editor.

Step 2: Select a Layer

Select the text, image, button, or other layer you want to edit.

Once selected, you can make changes to that layer without affecting the other elements on your slide.

If layers overlap, you can also select the layer from the layer list.

Step 3: Move a Layer

Select the layer and drag it to the position you want on the slide.

Or you can set it manually in the right panel layer settings

Layout Behavior: Relative

Layout Behavior: Absolute

Use the position settings when you need more precise placement.

Step 4: Resize a Layer

Select the layer you want to resize.

Use the available size controls to adjust its width or height.

For images and similar elements, keep the proportions balanced so the content does not look stretched or distorted.

Step 5: Duplicate a Layer

Select the layer you want to copy, then use the duplicate option available for that layer.

A copy of the layer will be added to your slide. You can then move it and change its content or styling.

Tip: Duplicating a layer is useful when you want multiple elements with the same design, such as matching buttons or text styles.

Step 6: Delete a Layer

Select the layer you no longer need and use the delete/remove option.

Make sure you have selected the correct layer before removing it.

Step 7: Check Your Layout on Different Devices

Switch between the available desktop, tablet, and mobile views.

Check that your layers are correctly sized and positioned on each screen size, especially on mobile.

Step 8: Save and Preview

Click Draft after making your changes.

Then use Preview to check how your slider looks before publishing it.

Then use Save & Publish to publish the slider in the storefront

That's it! You can now move, resize, duplicate, and delete layers to quickly adjust your Slider Revolution 7 slide.
