Slider Revolution Changes Not Showing on the Frontend?
If you're making edits in the Slider Revolution editor but those changes aren’t reflecting on your live Shopify store, it's most likely due to browser cache or cookies. This is a known and common issue.
Follow these steps to make sure your changes apply correctly:
🔹 Step 1: Clear Your Browser Cache and Cookies
Before making or saving any edits, clear your browser’s cache and cookies. This ensures you're working with the most up-to-date version of the slider.
For Chrome:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + Delete (Mac).
- Select “Cached images and files” and “Cookies and other site data”.
- Click Clear data.
🔹 Step 2: Open an Incognito or Private Window
If you prefer not to clear cookies, you can:
- Open an Incognito (Private) window
- Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Or use a different browser entirely (e.g., switch from Chrome to Firefox)
This ensures no old cache interferes with your edits.
🔹 Step 3: Now Make and Save Your Changes
After clearing cache or switching browsers:
- Open the Slider Revolution editor again.
- Make your changes as needed.
- Click Save and wait for the confirmation message.
- Refresh the live store page to see the updated slider.
✅ Why This Happens
Browser cache temporarily stores older versions of your site. If not cleared, it may prevent the latest slider edits from appearing — even if everything was saved correctly.
