# How to Publish Slider Revolution 7 to Online Store 1.0 (Vintage) Themes

If your Shopify store uses an **Online Store 1.0 (Vintage)** theme (such as *Debut*, *Brooklyn*, or *Venture*), follow these 3 quick steps to enable, publish, and position your slider:

||| Important
||| Migrating from Slider Revolution 6 to SR7?
||| If you previously used an SR6 slider on your store, the old slider section will still remain in your theme. You must remove the old SR6 slider section first before publishing the new SR7 slider to avoid conflicts.
||| (To remove: In Online Store > Themes > Customize, click the old slider section in the sidebar, scroll down, and click Remove section).

---

## Step 1: Enable the Slider Revolution App Embed

Before publishing, ensure the Slider Revolution core script is activated in your theme:

1. From your **Shopify Admin**, go to **Online Store > Themes** and click **Customize** on your active theme.
2. In the left toolbar, click the **App embeds** icon (the icon with 4 squares).
3. Locate **Slider Revolution** and **toggle the switch ON**.
4. Click **Save** in the top-right corner.

---

## Step 2: Click "Publish" & Choose Destination in SR7

1. In the SR7 Visual Editor, click the **Publish** button (arrow upload icon) in the top-right toolbar.
2. SR7 detects your OS 1.0 theme and displays the publishing options:

3. Choose where the slider should appear:
* **Home page** *(Default & most common)*
* **All product pages**
* **All collection pages**
* **A specific page**
* **Custom Liquid** \*(Generates a `{% render %}` snippet for custom code)\*
4. Click the green **Publish** button.

---

## Step 3: Drag & Position the Injected Section

Once published, the slider section is automatically added to your page template.

3. **Drag it up or down** to your desired position on the page (e.g., directly under the Header).
4. Click **Save** in the top-right corner.

## Didn't Get Redirected? Open Theme Customizer Manually

If SR7 does not automatically open the theme customizer after clicking Publish:

1. Open your **Shopify Admin**.
2. Go to **Online Store > Themes**.
3. Under your active theme, click **Customize**.
4. In the sections list, find your **`Slider: [name]`** section, drag it into place, and click **Save**.
