# How to Add Buttons and Links in Slider Revolution 7

Buttons help turn your slider into an interactive part of your store.

You can use buttons such as **Shop Now**, **View Collection**, **Learn More**, or **Explore Products** to send customers to products, collections, pages, or other destinations.

In this guide, you'll learn how to add a button, customize it, and add a link.

---

## Step 1: Open Your Slider

From your Shopify admin, open **Slider Revolution**.

Find the slider you want to edit and open it in the **Slider Revolution 7 editor**.

---

## Step 2: Add a Button Layer

In the editor, select **Add Layer** and choose **Text >> Button**.

A new button layer will appear on your slide.

---

## Step 3: Change the Button Text

Select the button layer.

Replace the default button text with the call-to-action you want customers to see.

- Discover More

> **Tip:** Keep your button text short and make the action clear.

---

## Step 4: Customize the Button

With the button selected, use the styling settings to customize its appearance.

You can adjust options such as:

- Text size
- Text color
- Background color
- Border

Choose a style that makes the button easy to see against your slider background.

---

## Step 5: Customize the Hover Style

You can also change how the button looks when a customer moves their cursor over it.

---

## Step 6: Open the Actions Settings

Now you'll need to tell Slider Revolution what should happen when someone selects the button.

With the button selected, open **Actions**.

---

## Step 7: Add a Click Action

Add a new action and configure it to open a link when the button is clicked.

Enter the destination you want customers to visit.

You can link your button to:

- A Shopify product
- A collection
- A page
- A blog post
- Another page on your store
- An external website

Make sure the destination is correct before saving your changes.

---

## Step 8: Save and Preview Your Slider

Click **Save** when you're finished.

Then open **Preview** to test your slider.

Then Finally publish the changes on your store front by clicking the **Save & Publish** button,

Click the button in the preview and confirm that it opens the correct destination.

---

## Step 9: Publish Your Changes

Once you've tested the button and everything works correctly, publish or update your slider on your Shopify store.

That's it! You've successfully added a clickable button to your Slider Revolution 7 slider.

> **Tip:** Use clear calls-to-action such as **Shop Now** or **View Collection** instead of generic labels like **Click Here**. This helps customers understand where the button will take them.
